The Croup
Connor has croup. We were unfamiliar with croup until yesterday when his Aunt Tammi said that he had a croupy sounding cough. Then we called the grandma's and took him in to see Dr. Jason at Clarian West. He gave Mr. Connor a quick shot of roids and told him to hit the gym.
The poor guy has the worst sounding cough. Dr. Jason said to take him out into the cold air or into the bathroom with a hot shower running and that should provide some relief.
What an exciting weekend this is gonna be.

Big Week for Mr. Connor
It was a big week for Mr. Connor this week. He learned how to drive and eat in the same week. After watching Grandma and Grand
pa strain every muscle in their body playing the Wii on Friday, Connor drove his first Jeep on Saturday. It was a Christmas present from Grandmama. (I think Uncle Geoff might be jealous). After a long day of driving and watching the Hoosiers get crushed by Illinois, Connor decided that he would be a big guy and start eating cereal! Turns out the kid is a natural when it comes to eating. That doesn't really suprise me because his mommy and daddy love food!
Off to watch the Hoosiers get crushed by Ohio State. Then Grandpa and Dad are headed down to watch Tom Crean and the boys battle Penn State in Bloomington. (We might have to stop into Yogi's for a beer.)

A Rough Start to a New Year

Well, it was a rough start to the New Year for the Smith family. Connor got sick on New Year's day, followed by Leia on the 2nd and I was sick from the 3rd till the 5th. Hopefully we have gotten the ship straightened out and headed in the right direction.
New Year's Eve we headed over to Leia's brother Jarrett's place. Always a good time over there and plenty of cold one's to go around. We didn't last long and made back home and in bed by 10:00 p.m. Ah, the exciting adventures we have.
On a better note, the Hoosier's put up a decent fight against the Hawkeyes last week.
